Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ'S)

Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions about GREEN-R-PANEL homes. This section is updated in a regular basis to address commonly asked questions about our pre-built housing solutions. It is recommended that you check back frequently during your building process should you have any questions.
Do I have to be concerned about half load restrictions for delivery?
No as long as the restrictions are only 5 tons per axel.
I have forks on a backhoe on site, will I need something else for unloading?
We recommend that you have 8ft extensions on the forks. It is not recommended to “sling” off the components.
How are roof trusses typically unloaded?
The roof trusses will typically be strapped together and on the top of the load. They should be removed first to avoid damage.
How high is the load piled on the truck?
The load will typically be 13 feet from the ground.
Do I need to have scrap lumber to place under the components as they are unloaded?
Unless you plan to begin building immediately, it is recommended that you place the components off the ground. Please see the information in your Welcome Kit for the care and handling of your building system.
