How much for the 36×57 Ranch? How much would it cost to have it delivered to East Tawas, MI 48730?
The floor plan would work but I prefer a porch and the model is shown without one.
I built this house NW Tucson. This way made the process a lot faster. Plus framing in a factory makes a difference compared to on the ground. In the factor they setup jigs and forms and it has a better chance being square and true,. The walls came the first weekend we used an extended fork lift to unload and setup frames. Setup a crane $150hr to put up trusses the next weekend and kept the fork lift to put up sheets on the trusses. Order the styrofoam insulation for the walls that took longer than the pink insulation. Styrofoam has been a green sound barrier. Upgraded to 2×6 exterior and never regretted that.
The county I live in you can build your own house. Richard took care of all the plans. With the county. We used subcontractors we found on housing developments construction sites looking for weekend work. We watched them work and seen first hand their work especially the framers.
