Answers to your most important questions about building with Green-R-Panel

1. How does Green-R-Panel residential framing system work for custom home designs?

Perfectly. Our panelized system is built-to-order from the architectural and structural plans. Whether you’re building a farmhouse-inspired family residence, mountain modern retreat, a coastal craftsman, or a contemporary infill home, we fabricate your wall panels, floor systems, and roof trusses to match your exact design specifications.

Absolutely. Custom homes are our specialty. We work with builders who do unique layouts, varied elevations, vaulted ceilings, angled walls, custom window and door placements—you name it. We help you simplify the framing, not the design.

Most builders save 30%-50% from their dry-in timeline, depending on complexity and crew size. Reduce Man-hours and reliance on high-cost certified carpenters. Green-R-Panel provides the pre-manufactured and labeled component systems your framing team needs to stop wasting time planning, laying out, measuring, cutting, nailing and problem-solving on site.

Yes! If your crew can frame a home with lumber, they can easily erect our system. Many of our builder client’s framing crew prefer the labeled, ready-to-install components after their first project. No special training or tools are required, though we’re always available for phone/email support during the build.
No, each situation is unique. For example, ranch homes on slab foundations don’t need floor systems. Green-R-Panel’s AutoCAD component design software converts your building envelope into a prefab integrated structural system. Transform the framing of your next project into a simple process with fewer delays and single supplier responsibility. Customer satisfaction is our mission, and we are happy to work with you whatever you would like to purchase.

Each Green-R-Panel framing package typically includes:

  • Exterior and interior wall panels (pre-manufactured, labeled, framed openings)
  • Optional engineered floor system*(I-joists or open-web trusses)
  • Engineered roof trusses* with sealed drawings
  • Shop drawings and build layout diagrams
  • Assembly instructions
  • Phone/email support during installation

* Floor and roof sheathing, loose lumber, as well as other incidental materials, are not supplied in our packages.

All components are organized, labeled and delivered for fast jobsite assembly.

Green-R-Panel supplies your prefab framing system at our network of automated component manufacturing facilities that specialize in precision-built wall panels, I-Joists and trusses. Our production facilities are not retail lumber yards. Our customers source 2x lumber locally for more flexibility and to avoid extra shipping costs or delays.

For professional results, better performance, easier installation, and fewer framing issues, we recommend upgrading to manufactured component floor and roof systems.

Yes. Green-R-Panel building systems are manufactured exactly as per the specifications on the plans reviewed and approved by your local building authority prior to issuing a permit. All roof and floor truss engineering is sealed according to applicable building code requirements. Our designers confirm key loads, snow/wind zones, and regional codes to ensure full compliance. I-joist floor systems can also be engineered and sealed where required.
Yes. Green-R-Panel framing systems are compatible with slab-on-grade, crawlspace, basement, Superior Walls Systems and other precast panel foundation designs. Green-R-Panel can also add wall panels if your design includes a daylight basement.
